It's never easy to ask for something, at least not for me. So I found myself far out of my comfort zone when I decided to create a crowd funding project on the newly launched Lift Women platform.
Speaking to the wonderful Irene, Lift Women's Founder, I was reminded that I need to make sure that I am telling anyone who will listen about my business and to ask for support. Her guidance and support for my project was incredible, and I would encourage any female founder with a goal to use Lift Women!
Once the call went out, I watched as wonderful people shared my message and goal to make the world less crappy one nappy at a time. Like a woman possessed I refreshed the project tab repeatedly to watch people back my project until finally, we hit 106% funded!
So thank you to my wonderful community who had faith in Rock Bottom Nappies and backed our project. Thanks to you, we donated nearly 600 nappies to survivors of family violence and your funds have been integral in helping Rock Bottom Nappies launch in to the world!
